A door in Jiufen, Taiwan.Doors with bamboo patterning are quite common in Taiwan - even more common are the motorbikes.
The full verse: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." (ESV)
Jesus wants to be with us. He wants to be invited right into our lives. Not just into a religious sphere but into the everyday details like eating and sharing a meal. He wants to be our guest at every meal.
More than a guest: he wants to be there to stay.
