everything is possible to learn...but it is a slow process and is hard to do via e-mail....i use a lot my knowledge and expirience form real darkroom (it is not big but it helps a lot)...i try to emulate some of this tehnique in PS...for a start i think is vital to find some good book about PS (but good one-many crap books on market)

Thanks a lot Denis.. I really know well it is a hard process.. I am still trying to learn as much as I can.. I just wondered the process about only taking photo.. I mean what is the setups.. ISO? f? Shutter Speed? Something like that..

Hm...some things also depend by the kind of camera....i notice you use a Canon which is probably better then my Olympus on higher Iso... i use the lowest i have and this is on my cam iso 100...i shoot just in Raw mode and this is the best way for any later manipulation...my "in settings" camera (sharpening,contrast) are on the lower side (evrerything on zero or bellow that) because i dont want to degrade the file with and in fact i will control both this thing better with Photoshop...the shutter speed is not a problem if you use a tripod and lenses usually have their maximum sharpnes and produce maximum quality on some "middle" values like F 8, F5,6 F 11, but i use on mine the whole range... i just notice that somehow on my lens i use mostly F 11 but this is a specific things for this lens i use...On exposition longer than one second i use "noise reduction" otherwise file be very corrupted with grain produced by the heat of sensor...
