oh oh oh... everyone says "this is wonderful or awesome or fabulous" or some other superlative. I agree completely. the long exposure gives it a feeling dream state.

this is really wonderful.
time frozen in motion.

so u were able to do this by have a small aperture?
f16--the larger the number the smaller the aperture?
and the shutter speed?--how do u control that for such a long exposure?
did u use a tripod?
are you afraid of using your camera near the ocean?

yes...the biggest the number the smaller the aperture...because of that less light come to sensor (or film) and you have to increase time of exposure (shutter speed)...yes, i use a tripod because it is impossible to hold a camera steady on longer exposure...
Nd filter is just a dark piece of glass which cut down the light and you have to deal with longer exposures then usual...
No,not afraid...

A very interesting and for me refreshing new way to show movement, denis. Adore your idea.

Thank you Horst...i was sorry that i didn't buy another ND filter...for even longer exposures...it is hard to do something when light is not good...

IΒ΄m convinced by the art you present moving people here, Denis. Another alternative is to take some more exposures (from tripod) and blend them. Have tried this at the Oslo Opera and will post it soon.

Love the movement created here by the blur .. Looks to me like the people in the sea moved and are now just standing still, almost like old film when it get's stuck.
