Scarface may not be the most handsome man of all time, but he doesn't look too shabby for being in his 30s! (See below.) I thought he deserved a little exposure for such an accomplishment.Ring-tailed lemurs typically live 16-18 years in the wild and up to their late 20s in captivity. When this picture was taken, Scarface was 33. He is now 36 and still doing well!
Age is starting to take a toll and we're not sure how much longer we have with him - but all of us at the zoo have a soft spot for this sweet soul. <3

Whenever I'm at the zoo, I always have to stop and just watch these guys--I don't think they get the attention they deserve, they're so pretty and their eyes are so striking. Great capture--I hope that he surprises all of you and lives many more years!
