And the Goddess joined her hands together and started her silent chant."Sun! Thou, who watches over us, bless us with your soul, your rays of life and your warmth, lest the living shall not turn into the dead for one more fleeting instant of a day."
Then she relaxed again.
"Now it's your turn," beckoned the Goddess to the man with an ornamental piece of cloth draped over his loins.
And the man joined his hands together and started his silent chant...

The photo is of a statue attached to a wall in Chiang Mai, Thailand not long before sunset.
Almost no editing was done to the image, only slight adjustments to levels, contrast and sharpness and the usual stuff.

ThI like the contrasts to light and shadow, and the fact that it doesn't look all unblemished is nice. That makes it look so more more tangible and real.

Thank you! It's actually one of my favorite photos, maybe because it was really a coincidential shot, I didn't wait for the sun to be in the right place or something.
