Based on this design, I think that Superman should wear a red leather jacket in place of a cape, much like Superboy used to have during the 1990's-this great costume concept makes it work.

Superman as a cowboy is a no brainer really...raised by a farmer...handling cattle and horses. I always thought he would be tough (as opposed to naive hick DC often makes him out to be) with his background. Pa Kent won't raise no wimp. He looks so laid back and yet so confident. I love it

Only thing missing, and I'm not even sure of it... a sheriff badge. I mean, who could do a better job protecting the citizens and enforcing the law than Superman? But then again, would Superman choose to be an authority?

Brilliant! The "S" as a kerchief works perfectly, natural "diamond" shape and all! And I love how the cape becomes a duster.
