I've found that for me, busts are the art equivalent of junk food. They're fun and easy to produce, but they don't really fill me. So I wanted to draw something more artsy so to speak, different from what I draw normally. And I'm pretty satisfied. The only thing I don't like that much is the highlights/gloss on the blood, I still have no fucking clue how to do that lol, even after goretober.

The title of the piece and the words in it are lyrics from the song Blue Lips by Regina Spektor.

Got the itch to make this piece after flipping through an old sketchbook (I'm still searching for a specific character design ) and seeing an old picture of this one blue guy who still has no name (I'm really bad at naming characters) with the lyrics to the song. The lyrics kinda fit the story too.

An alternate title for this was I'm Blue Da Ba Dee Da Ba Di. Also, no, this isn't a vent piece, if you were wondering. I just like making angsty, occasionally edgy shit lol
