I've been staring at this for at least a minute trying to work out it's meaning. Whatever it is, this is a beautifully done piece. The only things I noted was that the thorns are all flat and unshaded which is jarring compared to rest of the gorgeously shaded image and keeps drawing my attention away from the subject, the woman. Otherwise, good color scheme and composition.
