This kind of reminds me of a cross between a "boo" from Mario games and a metroid from the metroid series. Actually, when I first saw it, I was thinking this was some new Nintendo concept art xD
I think it would be awesome if you worked for Nintendo one day (REALLY AWESOME) but back to the piece. The way you utilized spiral and same direction strokes to indicate motion really had me in awe; excellent work man.

Thanks dude, this was a sketch I had done in pencil quite some time back, but at the time I wasn't sure how I would indicate all the motion and swirls, so I finally scanned it up, and did it up! Fun practice and a new technique to put to use in the future

Thanks bra. I have wanted to try drawing some semi-transparent stuff, even since I was kid watching documentaries about deep-sea life and those crazy creatures. So I did it and I liked it, haha
