Theologian Portrait of Augustine of Hippo
Here’s a retouch of the Augustine portrait.
On this retouch I tried applying the fact that Augustine was born in Africa and most likely would’ve been black rather than the usual European white male he is mostly depicted as. Though a challenge because I was referencing different black men it was enjoyable to push myself to modify a famous art piece of the renown Augustine of Hippo.
