Wanted to do a Star Wars inspired character, but still struggling with clothing and what are jedi and sith if not a bundle of flowing cloaks, so went with a droid robot thing instead. Inspired by the old battle droids from the clone wars and some of the different R2 mech units.

If I had to make a back story for him, I'll say something along the lines of 'in the aftermath of the clone wars someone found a crashed fighter with a broken R2 mech unit and some defeated battle droids from the separatist army on another occasion - using the parts he found, he built this guy - maybe his official designation is D3X-R so he might be called Dexter'. I quite like the idea that he doesn't think he's a droid, possibly in denial, possibly because he was made with spare parts so is completely unique.
