Halloween is all about the magical and majestic. This is my interpretation of magic.
Believe it or not, my first attempt with horse cantering through water. Prior to this piece, all I'd done was horses standing in water. But I'm pleased with how it has turned out- could have been worse!
I drew the eye, any improvements on it?

I always appreciate photomanips that are cleanly done and integrated so well -- and this is one of them. There are a few flaws, but it's amazing that there is such attention to detail. The horse fits in with the background, as does the sky, even though they are all from different sources. A worthwhile endeavor, I must say.

Gorgeous! Those splashes are epic. Maybe they'd fit a little more seamlessly with a bit of yellow and red in them, but otherwise I love love love the colour balance of this piece.

Come to think of it, maybe an orange Photo Filter might be the easiest way to go, though Color Balance gives you plenty of control too. Might take some fiddling.

They are pretty straight forward to whack up, I just copy the sky image into the background then erase the areas that wouldn't show (i.e. behind the mountains) and then I just duplicate it, flip it up the other way, give it a slight ripple effect and lower the opacity. Then it blends with the water

Yeah i do make my own backgrounds,
its just that one is amazing and your sky image is not stock
thats why i wished i had the background
