Ahh! I had so much fun with this one
I was actually working on another piece when this idea hit me. And not just conceptually too, but mechanically. I've been trying to figure out ways to get my models to mold and bend to different shapes of objects (like the cylindrical roller here), and I finally figured something out
So I immediately dropped everything and did this. I just had to try out my new idea!
A little model posing, GIF animating, and a sprinkle of this new method of flattening to shapes, and this is the result!
I also tried to go for a smoother GIF animation this time

I actually have a couple of animations featuring Peach already, like the Peach Record one, or the one where Daisy and Rosalina are squashing her with a hammer.

That's pretty cool. The thing I find that make the best animations are the ones that seem like they go on without a break, very much like the roller and very much unlike Daisy getting runover. The roller scenario almost seems more realistic (as realistic as it can be) because it feels like she just keeps rolling and keeps getting flatter, but the runover example is an obvious 5 second loop and that loses its continuity and therefore value in my humble opinion. Just my two cents.

That's fair. I typically like to only go out of the way to make it an animation if it loops too. Otherwise I do it in a comic style. The Run Down Daisy one was an exception since it was a remake of an already existing animation

Nice. I really like this roller one though. I love seeing her get squashed over and over again, her expression is perfect too. <3 would love to see what she looks like when it finally stops. Probably permanently pressed to the surface. hehe <3

Now this is really awesome. I do like the shading of the side of the roller.
Make it a tiny bit shade darker to see the roller in motion.
The flashing of the ground looks pretty good.

I honestly didn't even edit the side texture of the roller on the basis that I thought it looked good enough. It's the exact same roller used in all of my other pics.

I'll certainly consider flattening other girls like this too. Depends on who it is, and I have some other pieces I still wanna upload, but this idea was so much fun that I'll likely come back to it at some point
