And again, something a bit different.I found this absolutely gorgeous glass bead that was crying out to have something done with it, and this was the result. This little guy is made of polymer clay and painted in acrylics, than varnished for durability. The entire pendant is less than an inch and a half from top to bottom.

I would love to talk to you about creating some special beads with fennecs, these are amazing! I've raised fennecs for many years for zoos & educational programs and work with/donate to the Sahara Conservation Fund. These pieces would be wonderful to sell & donate the proceeds. Beautiful work!!

Is this for sale? I absolutely love this piece. I used to own a fennec but he's not around anymore. It's so hard to find cute fennec things since nobody seems to know what they are. Please let me know if I could commission you for one or even do an art trade.

I've always loved fennecs, they're really beautiful little creatures. I'm always surprised by the lack of fennec-based crafty things, I'd have thought they'd be a pretty popular subject, being so damn cute.
Sadly this one has already been sold, but I'd be extremely happy to make something similar if you wanted to commission one, just drop me a note! I'd love to do art trades, but I'm afraid I just don't have the time at the minute.

Thanks! Yep! The bead was something I found in one of my boxes of crafty bits, and the colouration reminded me of a fennec fox, so I decided to add one and turn the bead into a pendant. He's made of fimo and painted with acrylics, and a ridiculously tiny brush!
