Very dark, very interesting, If I hadn't already read the comic so far, This would have been what convinced me to!

I like how eerie this looks, and had a listen to the song. I think Im hooked, haha. Its fitting, from what Ive seen of Soulless so far.

Simple Machines is a fitting song for Soulless in a broad sense. If you can find it, "The Last Excuse", also by Dismantled, I consider to be the theme for it.

I took a look and found it on iTunes, good selection!

I would put the title at the top and the quote below it, if you are trying to emulate graphic novel design.
Otherwise, it looks like the poster for a 'suspense-thriller-sci-fi' knda movie.
Though, I wish people did this kind of design for GN covers. They'd be so much more interesting.

My mind pretends really hard this is a movie. Hence a movie poster look. I love movie posters.
I did a version arranged more like a standard cover. [link] I'm not sure I like it as much. but I may end up using it on something, dunno.

See, I like that one much better. Movie posters, with the title at the bottom, bother me.
I guess it's one of those 'follow the conventions of your medium' thing - since you're billing it as a graphic novel, my brain expects the title to be at the top instead of the bottom.

The movie poster "title last" thing works for me because I see it like punctuation. 'Here, let me show you a bunch of stuff, and BAM the period at the end of this sentence is TITLE.' So you're left with whatever thought you may have had in regard, driven home by the title.
GN's (and books) are functionally the opposite, since they don't have trailers playing for them, or any kind of introduction other than themselves. 'TITLE. Awesome, right? That's what this is. Awesome. And here's some art. COME LOOK COME LOOK'
I only subscribe to the GN newsletter sort of, because that's functionally what I'm making. (Because it's the only thing I can feasibly do by myself.) I view it as a giant, colored storyboard though.

I think it's be better without the ellipsisβthe pause is implied to me in the distance on the page, and it throws off the lining up of the words for me. Other word spacing thought: maybe "because" and "a mind" on different lines, rather than "because a" and "mind"?
...and "terrible". *bricked*
I love the general shape of the mech on the page, though. It flows really well with the broken-up text.

Looks better to me too. (And I prefer the movie poster look.)
