Just a little something I made on a whim inspired by a certain tradition to light a candle, four in total, one each week up until Gifting Day.
Yeah, I'm talking about the upcoming Christmas Holidays of course. Enjoy!

I'm kinda surprised that it hasn't come up in comic, to be honest. Maybe Ayanah is being a sneaky little scholar and not mentioning it because she thinks Baalah doesn't know any better and thinks it's sexy-cute. 
Or, maybe... both!
A: "I thought you were running around naked because it was a demon thing!"
B: "I thought you were just trying to ignore it because you were too stunned by how sexy I am to complain!"
Both: "... Huh."
A: "So, uh... Gonna put on a dress?"
B: "Depends. You gonna put on some pants?"
A: "... how about we both pretend this never happened and keep climbing?"
B: "Deal."
Also, mental image: Baalah's mom, in 1950s American housewife clothes, dropping a pan of cookies. "My word! I just had the most dreadful daydream of my dear Baalah climbing through a dungeon, naked as a plucked chicken, all while an evil scholar kept sneaking peeks at her unmentionables!"

Thus decided by Hiss Evil Laziness... who ACTUALLY saw Minion protruding from the Dark, laughing menacingly and clearly showing his tasering Wonder-Weapon!
"Excellent decision, Master Lazy Cat!", he answers silently, looking fondly at his Master. "Are you SURE that we will beat the Grinch THIS year?"
Hiss Evil Laziness eyes at his Minion and what he sees shocks him. That openly sly sneer, the casual caressing of his beloved taser, that determined face...
He has to swallow down a fur ball before he´s able to answer: "YES! Let´s beat the Grinch THIS year!"
"Very well... Let´s mobilize our troops! TO THE GRINCH!" And with a satisfied smile Minion puts his weapon back where it belongs.

Of course that you can do summoning with a single candle. You just need to be creative a little.

True, I had more in mind the cultist of Graveyard Keeper that managed to summon a regular chicken from a nearby farm while trying to cast a demonic ritual from a badly translated copy of a obscure spell book.

My main ritual involving candles is to light one upon sunset the day a person dies, then snuff it out at sunrise. It is to help light the paths the dead must walk on their journey to the Asphodel Meadows. I was unaware of this once a week ritual. Serious question, do you prefer paraffin or beeswax candles? I prefer beeswax as it burns longer with less soot.

Lighting a candle for the dead is a nice tradition. Reminds me of All Saints' Day here in Sweden when we light candles on family graves.
Think most candles we use are paraffin, but never noticed there's any soot unless one fail to blow them out properly.

Paraffin tends to burn with a high flame and soot leads. Therefore almost all churches tend to buy Beeswax, they last longer and do not tend to melt (curve over) on hot days. Then in Sweden I think a hot day is considered 23 C while in Texas it is 40 C.
