Please don't say anything about the head, I know its bad and I know the anatomy and background arn't very good, but this is my third attempt at acrylic painting and I actually sketched this out a while ago. Did it today, I know its VERY shiney xD only used a ref for the pose a while ago, but I shaded and did the coloring from my memory. Its supposed to be a thoroughbred, the head doesn't suggest that, but you'll have to use you immaginations xDArt (c ) to me
Oh yeah, that orange blob in the corner is supposed to be my signature, it kinda got cut off xD

Beautiful work! The anatomy is a little bit off, but not bad! I love the colors, and his coat is so shiny! This whole piece is beautiful, definitley deserves a

I've painted a wolf with acrylics --> [link] (on my old account) but haven't tried any horses yet, I will have to one day tho, I have a million tubes of paint and quite a few canvases sitting around collecting dust lol. Maybe I could try to paint you something in return for the xmas gift, when I get the time

lol! Aww thanks so much! ^_^ I am pretty proud of it but I haven't really touched acrylics since I did that, so it's been about a year lol and I still don't think I'm that good. I love using oils tho, but I havent used them for about a year either. I've just been doing heaps of pastel stuff. I could paint you a wolf or a horse, or whatever you like but it'll be quite a few weeks away because I'm about to move and I have some commissions to do ^^ But when I do get around to it, what would you like? It'll be good practice for me

Aw, you're so sweet! You know it doesn't really matter much what you do, whatever is comfortable for you.. hmm mabey I could put up a better picture of my huskey mix and you could paint her. I have some pics of her in my gallery, but they're not very good ones. I'll have to take some new ones. Definatly don't worry yourself with it though!

Dont get bummed about this, its actually pretty decent, a friendly suggestion would be to have a more subtle change in the highlights such as a darker gray. Mix in alittle retarter and you will have time to meticulously blend your colours. Keep it up !
