Description

High resolution sprites for Goomfrei, a redesigned version of Megasparkle Goomba from the fangame topic recut of Paper Mario Sticker Star. I had shown a roughie of this new version of the character before, but this is the first time he gets actual sprites.

Rather than a generic Goomba with no physical attributes of his own besides the Royal Sticker that landed on him, I changed the boss of the Decal Lands' southeast fortress into a named Micro-Goomba with mutton chops. This is to contrast with the Megasparkle form Goomfrei and the other still generic Goombas combine into, as well as contrast with his allies in general. I also gave Goomfrei an extra outfit to further individualize him from my previous roughie, though I had to slightly alter it so it would show up on a 3DS screen.

Due to the decision to not reference characters strongly rooted to the eighth gen games in Fruit Shake or (prior to my decision to end the stories with FS itself, of course) future DMZ topics, I decided to give Goomfrei the eighth gen Goomba model, rather than the custom one I made.
