YAY SAHVIJ! 8D
One of my first and, dare I say it, favourite characters - and the second time I've drawn him properly! xD
He's a cannibalistic, monster beastie who was kicked out of a heaven-sort-of-place because all the divinely beings didn't like him eating horsey brains.
I only had a couple of hours to do this whole thing, so it's very rushed. :/
Don't expect to see any more art from me for a while (I'll stick a journal up in a seccy)

Anatomy wise, I would have the wing membrane go further down the flank. This makes it visually more logical for flight. (Otherwise he could not 'grab' the air, flapping wouldnt really do anything besides stir up some air.)
Also I'd make the clouds have a bit more contrast; presently it looks almost like an unfinished spot on the page.
I can't think of any other crits, except maybe to use a bit more contrast over all. Darkers darker, lights a bit lighter... But if you do try that, make sure you avoid plastic-y white highlights.
I really love the detail on this picture though! Somehow the lineart makes you feel all the little cracks and crevices in the rocks.

Anyway this is AWESOME! Compared to the first drawing it's a million times better! Although the long pointy hooves look a bit wierd it's still really really wonderful. You've improved in leaps and bounds Laur!

Great job!!! The background is great (I don't know if I'd put the mountains so far up on the page though... it looks fine though). The anatomy is great and the upper half of the horse is really well done. I think his belly would be more foreshortened, unless he was standing up really very tall (as it is, he is very top heavy and would fall back forward very quickly). When horses rear, it isn't so much that they stand up on their back legs, but that they kick off the ground with their front legs.. I hope this is making sense... so that their body is balanced over their back legs. The center of mass would sort of be a vertical line from their ribs to the bottom of their back hooves, placed firmly on the ground. If you look at a side view of a horse rearing, thinking of this vertical line of center of mass... the head/neck/shoulders and front legs will be on one side, while the rest of the body and back legs will be on the other side (of this vertical line). I always look at reference pictures when I need help picturing how a certain pose is supposed to look. Just something to keep in mind for future artwork.

Looking very good! I see you're embracing difficult perpectives and poses - excellent!
I notice that the mountains in the distance don't fade too smoothly into the clouds. To fix that (assuming you're using Photoshop) I would suggest selecting the eraser tool and setting it to a really, really low opacity, like 5-15%. Blot at the sharp edges with it, more heavily toward the clouds. After you have a more or less gradual shift established, use the blur or smudge tool to smooth things out.
