Description "In Mute Rapture"

That slight, recurring death of sleep
drowns all the hapless, hopeless fools.
Each who shivers and quakes in night
before the dawn shimmers and breaks
knows not the tender touch of end-
less Paradise.  Nor do these mice
envision realms where grow and spring
majestic vines that bear the fruit
of love and parks of glory spread.
In mute rapture, may peace unfurl.

I thought that the relation between death and sleep wouldn't surprise me, but the way you put it as "death of sleep" is very fascinating. This is a beautiful exploration of life and death paralleling night and dawn, and the brevity of this piece only highlights the mortality of men as "mice." Not to end on a sour word, but is it just me or is the "where" in the line "envision realms where grow and spring" a typo? Should it be "which?"
