i really love this new interpretation of the 2 new versions of the great 3 headed dragon.Β the one in the monarch monsterverse reminds me more of the 2001 version and the one in the anime timeline feels like they are sticking to his original "creature from outer space origin".

I'm open to any new interpretations to any monster but i just find it so odd that toho can take one monster and put him in so many different timelines.

i honestly like the anime trilogy more than the 2014 movie

at least 2014 got more screen time than the second anime movie

but here are my reasons
1.) Godzilla himself actually feels present threw out the two movies rather than in the 2014, in Godzilla (2014) you barely feel like Godzilla's in the movie do two the people talking about the M.U.T.Os 24seven
2.) the anime has better human characters. i know haruo is like an eren Yeager but there are a bunch of characters like eran yeager, plus ford character never really developed at all nor did any of the human characters in 2014Β
3.) the anime a much bigger... i dont want t say lore but i want to say story behind it, the anime has to prequel novels with allot of infoΒ
4.) this has to do with screen time for the big G himself, i wouldn't of mined Godzilla screentime in the 2014 movie if he actully felt present throughout but sadly that not the case (guess you can connect this with number 1)

ok yes i do agree it is odd that Godzilla only has 10: 24 of screen time in 2014 but when they do show him you're not dissappointed.Β As for characters in any monster movie I just take them all at face value and pick the ones i like or identify with the most due to me being more of a special effects guy.Β the size of anime G is insane...both of them and as for the anime Mechagodzilla....as much as i love his new look...it's a let down that he wasn't really in the movie other than being the city which, from what i've been gathering...didn't offer or do much.

i do admit it is a creative idea for the nano-metal used to build Mecha-Godzilla expanded into . city but it was a let down that the big robo-G himself didn't get re-activated and we could've seen something like that epic fan animation.
