All flags/art by me.Lore: When Benigno Ramos led a coup against the government on 1st May 1933, which by this time is still under American rule, Manuel Quezon, who had just been elected, openly supported Ramos, and immediately rallied the people for a radical overthrow of the American-established Philippine Commonwealth. It was short, blood was shed, but somehow they succeeded, the remaining American garrison were recalled, and now an independent Philippines faces pre WW2 alone.
