A little something to keep my skills sharp.
A few months ago i saw a movie called "Den sidste vinter" (yea i'm oldschool)
And i have to say that movie is a masterpiece. Its free from any political crap.
The guy's name is Oberleutnant Ahlbach. He is a very sympathic man, and he gots asthma. Yes he is soo very awesome in my eyes.
I love danish movies, but this is simply the bestest.

My, this is quite an excellent painting, the expression makes the picture alive!
Nice idea to put textures, from a further view it looks a bit like it's a 3D model. *lifts finger* If I may suggest something... the contrast between the coat and the face are different... it's especially visible on the neck: it's like the shadows aren't dark enough. I think i'd add a bit of relief if it was darker!
Even the hair is super detailed, and the skin tone is dfgdfg... Mah, wish I could do that!

I think ... the only thing I might suggest adding is a little detail in his eyes, just the hint of veins would make them a little closer to the detail level of the rest.
He looks so.... comfy. I wouldn't mind snuggling up under his coat.
