Description
I chose to let her silhouette kind of emerge from the ruins of the shore. These broken pieces of ships and planes marking the base, the destruction from where she will rise.The decision of not showing her complete face was a decision made very early. I wanted to lay the focus on the dirt on the figure and her mouth that looks like it is sighing after some intense scene. That´s about it. Hope you´ll like it.
Aftermath: Sad me. Didn´t make it.

Nee, aber das mach ich eigentlich immer so. Die Buchmesse ist eher so ne chillige Nerdblase geworden, die jedes Frühjahr kommt um mich mal wieder abzuholen. Also eher fun als serious biz. XD

This is breathtaking. You pulled it off flawlessly! I think you chose the perfect hues and tones for the wreckage and blues, it is tough to pull off this type of painting and make it all flow so cohesively, but your choices came together perfectly. Makes me wanna check out your gallery!
