Just imagine these two fighting Chaos and Discord side by side, how awesome would that be?!Anyway, my fan-girling aside; These were made completely custom and took about 2 hours in total, counting the time it took to animate the sprites.
I decided to go with the Rainbow power and the Hyper form because I thought that the two would fit well together. You may recognize these sprites;this is because I took my Rainbow Dash and Super Sonic sprites and made them about 20% cooler with new poses and a bunch of other new features, including animation.
Also, I made sonic have his SA2 shoes on for whatever reason
Feedback would be greatly appreciated
Please do not use these sprites without my permission.

Nah, "fangirling" and "fanboying" have different actions involved.
(I swear I'm not making this up) Fanboying is the one meant for guys, but it involves drooling/worshiping an object or person;while fangirling is "the reaction a fangirl has to any mention or sighting of the object of her "affection". These reactions includes shortnessΒ of breath, fainting, highpitched noises,Β shaking, fierce head shakingΒ as if in the midst of a seizure, wet panties, endless blog posts, etc.Β "
I don't really 100% match either one, but I'm closer to the "fangirling" definition.

You're better off using Super Rainbow Dash instead of Hasbro's toy-pandering, overcluttered, poor excuse of a super form.
Still, these sprites look custom made, so I'll allow this into Sonic-Rainboom .

If you truly see RP as Dash's Super form, then I won't stop you from seeing it as one.

Well, if they had paid attention to our work instead of designing their own, I definitely wouldn't be complaining. And that would be definitely be boosting the toy sales. Not just to little girls, but to bronies as well.
But unfortunately, no, they made designs that appeal only to little girls. If only they didn't, though.

I thought a few of the harmony designs worked, not all, but they looked decent.
I think they felt if they made their designs too close to want the fans conceived one of the fans would ask for a cut of their profits, so perhaps the designs are just for legal protection? I dunno, the designs of the changlings and the mane-iac were good enough to make me think that sometimes the design crew just has offdays.

Honestly, that is bullshit. If that was truly the case, then... I was discussing about this in my group's private discussion area last night. Let me quote myself:
I guess this is what happens when you work your ass off for two years to get something canon due to Hasbro taking ideas from the fans, only to get shit upon with Rainbow Power. It's pretty much them shoving the middle finger in front of me... If that's the case, then why not reverse Derpy as well? Why not reverse every single pony name that were given by us, the fans, to them? Why not cancel Equestria Girls? I mean, we gave them the idea to do it in the first place. And why not just call it a winged unicorn instead of an alicorn, another fan term that was canonized?
... *sigh* I knew this would happen. Now that Rainbow Power is canon instead of Super Dash, it was only a matter of time before someone paired such an abomination with Super Sonic. I mean,Β why?Β What makes these idiots think that leaving Dash's coat blue fits her with Super Sonic? I do not get it. At all.
Then again, there's always the chance Super Dash could be canon in the end. After all, Rainbow Powered Dash only seems to be through her Element of Loyalty alone, whereas Super Dash is through all of the Elements of Harmony, not just one.
Still, this is how I feel at the moment.
