Vincent grew up in a wealthier family than others. His family life wasn't too bad. His mother was sweet and caring but it was his father who was stern and strict with him. And Vince, finding ways to rebel against his father's wishes, would get into heated arguments with his dad. The bond between father and son wasn't that great because of this. His father learned to use Vincent's mother to get his son to do what he wanted; Vince was more than willing to listen to his mother.

The only wish of his father's Vince never had a problem fulfilling was doing good in school, getting good grades, and going to college. Despite his "brutish" demeanor, he had dreams and goals he wanted to achieve. NOW ONTO INFO THAT DOESN'T EQUAL FAILURE

Growing up, Vince was always viewed by the "lesser fortunate" kids as a stuck-up, snobby rich kid only because he could afford to get new things whenever he needed them, could live in a nice place, his parents could drive a nice car, etc. He never really liked this view 'cause he never was like that. He didn't do much at grade school to get away from this view, seeing as his father pressured him to worry more about school than what other's thought of him. At a young age, though, he showed great potential leadership skills. When they did group activities, Vince was unanimously the leader of the group. He knew how to push everyone the right way to get them to do their work and to respect him and his decisions.

Vince got one good friend by the end of kindergarten, a boy who gave off a timid demeanor and who didn't care about Vince's social status.

By the time he was in middle school, he got sick of his "rich kid" appearance his peers gave him and found ways to destroy that view. He stopped wearing the nice expensive clothes his parents could afford for him and opted for other wear instead. His attitude worsened. He became snappy with his peers and more of a dictator than a leader in group projects. He would sass back to the teachers and ended up in the principals office quite a few times. He was suspended a couple of times...once from fighting and the other for repeated skipping. This only angered his father more and Vince was consistently grounded for all the mischief he'd get into it.

Vincent's father had always wanted him to do good in school (and this was one wish Vince never had a problem complying with) but with the trouble and nasty attitude Vince was developing, his father started to wonder if his son WOULD do good in school. But despite everything that went on, Vince still did his hw and passed with 1s and 2s (oh yay go him). For info on the German grading system, go here : [link]

About the end of 7th grade, beginning of 8th, Vince started to experiment with the idea of piercings. Of course, his father refused and yelled at him for wanting to do such a thing. His mother took his father's side...but this time, Vince rebelled against both. On a whim of his dad saying no, Vince went and got his first piercing done, the two lower studs on his left ear. He loved them and did his best at hiding them from his parents. When his dad found out, he was enraged and demanded Vince take them out or else he would rip them out himself. Vince challenged him to...suffice to say the fight went on for about 3 days before his parents finally gave up.

Vince had gained an upper-hand on his parents on something. So for about the next 6 years, he accumulated the piercings he has now, always winning the fights against his parents on them. The last one he got, the bridge piercing, he got when he was 19 and by that time, his parents were unable to do anything about it since he was an adult and whatnot.

By the end of eighth grade, Vince's kindergarten bff quickly became one of Vince's enemies. He found out that his "bff" had been using him for the past two years as a money source and didn't really care about him that much anymore. Their friendship was quickly severed and his "bff" was quickly beaten down by a very pissed off Vince That was the fight that got him suspended. The boy tried to crawl back to Vince over the summer but was rewarded with a knee to the stomach and Vince threatening to beat the living shit out of him if he came near him again. They are no longer on talking terms and Vince holds a deep loathing for the guy.

ONTO HIGH SCHOOL. Vince did a bit better in high school with his middle school reputation following him. How did he do better? He had finally abandoned his "rich kid" rep and view. No one saw him as such, even if he did still have a considerable amount of money. He was still snappy and a smart-ass with the teachers. He got suspended more times in high school than he did in middle school. More fighting. He didn't take crap well from others, so he'd end up...fighting them. HE WAS SO SMART n_n

His dad was completely enraged with Vince's actions and the two were constantly at each other's throats. His father never hit him, he loves his son, but his actions always rubbed him the wrong way (Vince's actions). Through sheer luck, Vince still did good in school, though some of his marks dropped into a 3 range. When he was a Junior in school, a little Sophomore came into the school system (sadly only for a year) that showed others that mean ol' Vincent wasn't as straight as they all perceived him to be Derek came onto the scene at his high school. Vincent had never really let anyone know he was bi, not even his parents. It was Derek who revealed it to everyone.

The younger male quickly befriended Vincent, even though his much more upbeat, "overly" optimistic (as Vince saw it) personality annoyed him to a degree. But Vince was drawn to him and within a couple of months of friendship, the two were a couple. He learned that Derek had moved to Berlin from Munich, staying with his aunt while his parents were in France. He was openly gay despite only being 15. So for the entirety that Derek was there, the two were near inseparable. It wasn't until about the last 2 months before Derek would return to Munich, that the relationship became intimate. THEY MADE SWEET SWEET BOY LOVE *shot'd to Hell* Or as Riri would say "THEY HAD MANLY SEX!"

And then Derek's parents returned and he had to go back to Munich >8 Awwww. Vincent was temporarily depressed to say the least. He didn't date anyone else for the rest of his high school years |D; But by the time he graduated, he had moved on...for the most part

Still, Vince retained his fairly snappy demeanor with a growing arrogance...yay arrogance. This came from the fact that his bad rep made him unrivaled by others. So he believes he can take on anybody and anyone (He is failure HAH). Not always true...but his headstrong attitude and hot-headed temper normally keep him from backing down in fights. Hence where his arrogance and pride rose...>8 these things connect you see.

So, when he was 19 his parents took a trip to England (with him)...during his summer break from his first year in college. This is where he met TAHTI (© *swiftwhippet ). He didn't really see the point of going...he barely understands English as it is (Derek understands / can speak more English than him). But he went to amuse his parents...because by this time, they were on better terms with each other...since Vince has matured since his younger years. When in England, he didn't like getting into the big crowded areas and would normally just leave and go somewhere secluded with fewer people. Hearing the people talking just made him confused and would result in a big dizzy spell. He couldn't keep up and couldn't understand them...and could only catch VERY tiny snippets of what they were saying. So he'd bail and go somewhere quiet. It made it a bit for him to really do much by himself 'cause he couldn't really speak English and his German accent...being quite heavy...made it harder for him to say the words right (for him at least).

So he'd bring a sacked lunch and chill by himself. As to how he met Tahti EXACTLY hasn't been decided yet...I just know they met in England AND THEY FELL IN LOVE AWWWW

He's decided to go move and live with Tahti once he gets out of college and has his degree. It's gonna be cute <8

The one thing Vince got from his dad that's he grateful for...is his idealism of romance. In other words, Vince is a huge romantic. He doesn't treat his significant other like he would other people. He treats them with kindness and respect...and gives them a whole part and aspect of his personality most people wouldn't expect him to have. He loves to lavish them with kisses, hugs, and gifts and loves to cuddle with them. He's big on dates. He will respect all their wishes...and doesn't believe in kissing on the first date. He likes to take it slow...ESPECIALLY if he really likes them. It's a part of his personality most people wouldn't expect of him and one most parents wouldn't expect him to have haha. He was viewed by parents as the guy they hope their daughters wouldn't date |D; But he wasn't a bad guy and always proved to be a huge gentleman with his date. Like I said, a part of his personality no one expected him to have and one he got from his dad (his dad is the same way with his mom).

Oh, and Tahti is the only one who can call him Vinny Anyone else, and he'll hurt them n_n He doesn't like that nickname...to him that nickname is like a "pet name"...a name couples give each other...so only Tahti (and back in high school, Derek could do it) can call him Vinny. He doesn't mind it...and when she calls him that...it makes him smile, actually Awww how cute
