Description
This is piece one of four of a series of Illustrator drawings I did to get better with the program when I first started using it. I chose to redo several pieces done in watercolor and brush by French Experimental artists Michael Canetti in Illustrator. His pieces were very simple and had a great flow to them and they made great subjects for practicing my vector skills.

This particular piece was for the French edition of Elle about male/female relationships. The text in the piece comes from the text of the article "Women are not so kind, but men are not so bad." It's funny, but I've gotten praise from men and jeers from women. It's funny how an particular type of image matched with an interesting and possibly sexist phrase can invoke such strong reactions in people.
