Some MORE My Chemical Romance art. This time with Gerard's new (bizarro bleached hair) look.I remember on my first listen through of The Black Parade, i was disgusted and hurt at what they had become. But after giving the cd a few more listen throughs i then started to really like it. Now i can't STOP listening to the cd.
The wing comes from another Gerard pic i did ages ago.
Not sure what is next on my list for things to draw, but it'll probably be FFXII fanart, or some more band fanart.

I think Gerard is more suitable with black hair. However, a bleached white hair also looks so good for him, depends on what hairstyle he's having at that time.
So I assume this is his alternate Black Parade costume. Think about it:
Long + Black hair + rock emo clothing = Original costume 1
Short + White hair + Military outfit = Alternate costume 2
Kinda like a fighting character if you see it that way.

Took me awile to get use to the Black Parade too. However Gerard decided to dye his hair back to black.

The font goes nicely with the image and I like the balance between one main figure and the crowd in the background. I love the detail on his clothes too. Great stuff
