spring blooming perennial ground coverbeneath my old wheelbarrow
a quintessential capture of simple nostalgia...
this ground cover, started in a container originally with cuttings from my mom's garden.
come spring it sprouts these delicately sculpted stalks of titillating bluish violet blooms
then gradually the blooms disappear and make way for a thick waxy deep purple and
green ground cover that remains throughout the year sometimes after several frost.
