Dusty passed away last night in the bushes he liked to sleep in.

He was an amazing cat, a loving friend, and truly part of the family. He loved to be pet, sometimes you would hit the right spot and he'd start nibbling your skin as you scratched, which tickled. You could even get his leg going sometimes

He loved short hugs (not too long though), but didn't care to be held. He loved playing with his little buddy Pumpkin (but not the third cat Snickers, who has been missing for a month). And he LOVED his nom noms. I always spoiled him with nom noms. He'd always give the cutest squeaky meow when I'd have treats for him, and always made it a point to give him some when I visited, except the last few times I forgot.

He used to be scared of going outside. He'd slowly walk out justa bit and explore around the door, but as soon as you started closing the door he'd run back inside. or if any sound or movement startled him, he'd run back inside. He didn't like venturing too far. he had got lost once long before I met him and that might be why. But luckily he was found and returned and remained indoors for a long time until the last two years or so, where he got used to being in the front or back yard.

This picture was from 2008 that I took while living with my friends. I lived with him for about 5 years and knew him for about 8. He always liked pushing the door open and visiting me in my room. And he'd always stad outside my closed door in the morning scratching and meowing to be fed.

I'm really gonna miss this little guy. I always looked forward to seeing him when I'd visit my friends.

You made a lot of people - and a kitty - very happy. Rest in peace, Dusty. I love you, buddy
