Taken near the beginning of Poughkeepsie Gulch in the San Juan Mountains outside of Ouray, CO. I don't think I've ever seen water a deeper blue than this in my life.Related content

Yep, that's right. 
We didn't do Poughkeepsie because the company we rented from didn't want their jeeps on that road. I've heard you need a winch just to get through part of it.

oh you don't want to try it er wwithout a winch and a modified vehicle... almost certain damage otherwise. I think you can access lake como from comming up the gulch.
california pass was one of the grandest views I've ever seen. you have jagged poughkeepsie to the left and the smooth glacier carved california gulch to the right. lol, I completely blew that shot.
