I like it, it's just both the symbol & the logo-type compete for attention instead of existing harmoniously together so the visual heirachy here suffers. Both elements are very powerful as standalone items just not when put together I feel

Get rid of the swoosh., that's so 10 years ago. I would like to see it better incorporated into the type itself. It just looks dropped right on top of the text. And to be honest I am really not digging" the effect." It looks like a tree sprouting out of the bowl rather than smoke. I only know it's smoke from your effect picture.
