Hahaha... My sister has five. She always rescues cats and tries to find them a new home. As soon as she manages to give one away, a new rescue shows up in need of love. She gave up naming them, she just assigns them numbers now.

I live out in the country, on a farm. So we have strays show up a lot. If I'm able to catch them, I get the spayed/neutered and get them their shots and let them go on my farm. Some stay and others find new homes. 3 of mine are indoor cats (One is afraid of outside, one is in hospice care, and the third just stopped liking going outside), 1 is indoor/outdoor and the other two are outdoor (One being a stray and the other hating inside)

That's so kind of you! It is really important to spay and neuter strays, so you are doing really important stuff preventing the birth of new homeless and endangered kittens. I would hug you right now. You sound like a really good person, at least as far as animals are concerned. Thank you for being awesome, and I'm sorry to hear about your ill and dying cat... I am sure that it has a happy life by your side and is getting the best possible care now.
