Description I almost gave up on this! I messed up the inks, but something in me was really not into throwing it away. I'm happy with the outcome. From my initial design, I just took off the cowl and made emphasis on the belt.

Wonder Woman is a DC Comics character and I did this as homage. I'm in no way selling the art, but the fact is, the way this piece was cropped, I'm having it printed 4x the size of an actual comic, complete with the branding and stuff, and hang it on my wall!

Comic style is certainly your forte ^_^ Even I know wonderwoman! It's always been hard for me to use colours in such a bold way, but I suppose comic tributes would be a good way to practice... And that's a compliment on your ability to use those colours!

Although coming from you, I'd take that as something big and a lot for me to be thankful for. If it had been others, I'll scream AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Friends from my college days knew as a "painting" guy than a "comics" guy. I sucked at anatomy (even now, I'm no master at these things) and painting's my way of saying "hey I can do anatomy too". There was just a point in my life where I felt I was getting good at drawing women. Fact is, I draw my pieces starting from the face. It actually steers the whole piece.

I still believe I can be like Stanley Lau (artgerm).

I started the piece with a challenge in mind. America started with her redesign and she ended up having the leggings and leather coat. So I asked my friends to do a redesign. I just "upped" my craft and made a faux comic book cover.

I saw this article in Pink Tentacle (a blog about Japanese culture) with Vintage Japanese Children's Books. I then told myself "I can do that". I hope that's a next chapter for me.

believe me, it took years to get to this level of coloring. maybe kay melch shorter, kasi he's been at this since... i dunno, college? check mo yung pages ni artgerm at ni cakes dito. those are the ones that gave me ideas. by the way, i'm almost done with the pencils of my next project.

yeah I've seen artgerm's work, love the way he paints. Warren Louw is very impressive as well. Actually dami dito sa DA na magagaling. I'll try posting colored works soon.

most of them cover artists ng photoshop mag or imagine fx. wala silang ibang trabaho tulad natin. kung naginvest ako sa tablet nung 2000, malamang nasa imaginary friends na rin ako. sabihin mong malinis gumawa mga yan, puro mali rin sila.
