Description I've been meaning to use this filigree piece for years... YEARS! It was so bright, so I painted it. You can see the original natural brass color on the raised curves of the stamping. It has a high gloss glaze over it so the paint doesn't rub off.

I like the wire work on the black crystal beads. Gives them just a little something, makes them that little bit more ornate, ties them into the main filigree piece. Good design is all in the details sometimes.

I'm curious, where do you get your supplies? I've been going to craft stores and I don't find half the beautiful beads you do. And I've searched online too but usually end up getting the same things on different webpages.

I hope not to be a bother

No bother at all!

I get most of my things from the internet. I rarely get anything at the craft stores anymore. Etsy.com is the greatest place to get things. I browse the supplies section.

I get most of my filigree pieces from Accessory Susan, [link]

Her site is wonderful!

Oh wow I see why, they're absolutely stunning. I'll practice a bit more with what I get at the craft stores before I move on to something like this. ^^ Thank you so much for taking time out to answering my question ^^ You're awesome!

Also, if you don't mnd me saying, while I don't reply much to anyone's work, one of my biggest inspiration that helped me make the decision to focus on making jewelry was your gallery. I did chainmail but after stumbling on your gallery I decide to take it to a new level. I don't think I'll be able to produce the awesome quality jewelry you do for a while, but just letting you know that your gallery was an inspriation to become better

Thank you for sharing your work!

That's so kind of you to say! I'm glad I could be an inspiration.

Practice is all it takes. I started with Chainmaille too Good luck to you!
