Yes! In fact I do!
Now, I WOULD have a job, if I wasn't taking the classes I am. :/
-too much homework-
And you're welcome!
Do you mind if I draw something/one with that necklace??

Great way to use those stampings! I've got two of them clanking about the workshop, and you've given me some delicious ideas. Congrats on getting though all the tedious chainwork to finally finish it. It can get so frustrating, can't it?

It is really frustrating. I always just want the piece to be DONE. But I get so much more from making all my own. A sense of accomplishment.
I'm working on another chain piece now that's trying my ethics lol.

Ugh, I know the feeling. You feel like you're getting nowhere for hours, while the chain grows by fractions. The moment it's done, though, is so much more exciting because of it.

Thanks lol
I don't like that you get so little accomplished in so long a time, but in the end I'm happier with it so it's all worth while.

this is a very beautiful piece; it is especially impressive that you hand made the chain. The components, as well as the main focal point, are perfect.

how do you go about making them? *I'm a newbie at jewelry crafting*

I make my chains by first winding wire onto a metal rod. You can buy winding, or coiling kits, in most craft stores. Once the wire is wound you have basically a spring coil, which I cut with wire cutters one link at a time. Some chainmaille jewelers use a small saw to cut the coil right down the middle. I don't have access to those tools though.
Once you have a bunch of jump rings you can piece them together to make the chain. You can also purchase already cut jump rings in the craft stores, but it's cheaper to make them yourself in bulk. But to start out, until you have the tools to do it, there's nothing wrong with buying them in a bag.
