another post of my patreon blog posted only now, orz;Finally introducing Gwen's older sister, Reina! (and also my second or third OC called Reina LMAO)
I've had her doodled up since a LIFETIME, but never got around finishing it 'cause of lack of time; this was actually supposed to be my personal piece for August, but guess who's just too busy and finished only last week....
I started this while re-watching the last movie a couple months ago, me and my sister are huge fans of the Hogwarts' Founders, even though not much is known about them, and we had fankids for them since a lifetimeeee it was about time I designed them xD
Since she's Gwen's sister, Reina is of course another Slytherpuff fankid! <3

Once again, I hope her design is ok, it was...quite hard doing a character who could fit the Middle Ages without going into fantasy ahah;;; BUT at least Reina isn't a complete tomboy like Gwen, so I had more freedom and fun with her outfits xD
I will definetely do a modern AU design anyways <3

Firstly, great job, looks amazing. Secondly, you have clearly shown that this character has a range of look and a wealth of personality. I mean, she can be beautiful and intimidating one minute, but shy and adorable the next! But the third thing I want to say might be a bit of criticism, just not for this one......
You mention "fankids", by which I assume you mean the children of the Hogwarts Founders, right? Well one of those founders cannot possibly have had a child. Rowena Ravenclaw died before she had had the chance to find love. So even though she's a ghost, I doubt even magic can allow a ghost to give birth to a living human child. So you'd have to change a lot of stuff to even make it plausible that she would be able to have a child. I mean, write fanfiction that practically re-writes nearly every event concerning her in order to make it make sense with the rest of the canon. And even that alone would be difficult. Then again, that's only if you made an OC fankid for her in particular. Rowena did have a sister I think, so naturally the Ravenclaw bloodline did go on, but Rowena couldn't have a child herself. So technically even though the fankid OC could be part of the Ravenclaew lineage, it couldn't be directly, therefore not the child of a Hogwarts Founder. They wouldn't count basically.

However, I'd have to go against you for this, let me explain:
Rowena was actually married and with a child, Helena, and that's canon; the fankid I have for her is born from a secret affair she had with Godric at Hogwarts. So yeah, I don't why you'd say it would be impossible for her to have a child, when she infact did have one in canon xD
(as for the others, we know nothing about them, so I like that it's basically up to the readers' imagination ^^)

Is this based on info revealed in the new book? Because I haven't read that one yet. I don't know... I might be remembering wrong or perhaps we are just talking about two separate canons(books and movies). I'm pretty sure the books said that Rowena Ravenclaw had died before finding love. Even if it was a secret affair, saying that doesn't mean she had to say who it was with... So why would she say that? Okay, maybe answering this question might clear things up for me: Was The Grey Lady Rowena Ravenclaw's sister in the canon of the books, or was it Rowena herself?

No no, she was married, probably they meant she never found love because it was an arranged one, and I don't think she loved her husband.
Helena Ravenclaw is the Grey Lady both in movies and books, she's the one who helps Harry getting one of the Horcrux items (Rowena's tiara that Helena had stolen; Rowena got severely ill afterwards, and sent the Bloody Baron to find Helena -she didn't care about the tiara anymore, just wanted to see her daughter one last time before dying-, the Baron found the girl, and when he confessed and got dejected he killed her, and then killed himself. Rowena died even earlier of heartbreak.)

Oh yeah.... THAT was how it went. I guess when you convince yourself that you know enough facts about something, the gaps that start to form in the memory of those facts get filled by imagination or logic. I honestly thought that the Grey Lady was Rowena herself and that her little sister inherited the tiara then hid it away. But thanks to you, it makes sense and I remember all of that now.
By the way, yes, I did mean The Cursed Child. Have you read that one yet? I'm hoping to get it for Christmas if for no other reason than to have something to tell my mom that I want since I can't really think of anything besides money or giftcards.
