Description I put this together as part of a video production demonstrating my technique. I spent about 1/10th the time I usually spend on an image to fit it down to an hour, but I think it still turned out okay. You can check it out here: [link] . Go easy on me. It's my first video.

A grey goat pokes his head out from behind an ivy covered tree. Grassy hills and mountains disappear into the distance behind him. Overhead, puffy white clouds fill the sky.

Note: this scene uses purchased content.

Tools used: Poser, Daz Studio, LookAtMyHair, Vue, GIMP

Thanks for looking!
Daniel

Another great! Love it. That is a handsome fellow peeking around that tree! Great job with the mist btw.

That was interesting, though I didn't watch the whole thing. I was mostly curious about your render settings and was surprised that you use just the "final" settings. I guess when you render at large dimensions you can get away with the final settings. Thanks for sharing all that. I'll check out the postwork session as well.

How cool! You did a wonderful job on your video! It's interesting to see your CG pipeline in action. I especially liked seeing inside of Vue. The echo painter looks to be a fabulous tool! I also like the trick you use with the Z-map to add depth to the elements in your scene. Very useful info! Thanks so much for sharing! yay!

You know, you're also so clever with these titles I could actually see you doing some "editorial" type art... think newspaper but with 3d instead. Different style, I know, but you'd kill it. This, as per usual, is gorgeous. The tones of your work are always so rich and beautiful, and I swear I'm going to have to get Look at My Hair just because of your renders. Great tutorial also! I am fav'ing this for your usual excellence, and also for quicker access to the tute.

Thanks!

I am working on a LAMH video for my next one, but finding time where my wife and kids don't burst into the room every few minutes is difficult.

I always delete the ground in Vue. It just gets in the way.

The legend himself! *Eagerly clicks!* I've always been so, so so so fascinated on how you do your work, so I'm glad I finally get the chance to see! I'm especially interested to see what you do with Look At My Hair!

Another -incredible- image, by the way, I'm eternally envious of how fleshed out and complete your works of art are!
