Thanks. I loved the way these berries and branches looked. It was hard to get a really good pic of them, as they were mostly back lighted and way over my head!

Thank you, Lauren. They may be crabapples, but they were quite small, only about 1/2 inch in diameter. But the tree they were growing on looked like some kind of fruit tree. So I don't know. Maybe they are winterberries!

Thank you. I liked the way these looked, particularl the twisted, gnarly branch. It just appealed to me!

It's mostly out of focus, just a little bit of it is sharp. The zoom lens is so narrow angled that it has a shallow depth of field. But I liked the way the branch was shaped, so I decided to post this. I've got much clearer shots of those berries, but they're also boring shots...nothing too outstanding about them. This is more arty, I think!

I just like the shape of the branch--it has an almost oriental feel to it. Years ago, I saw a collection of Chinese pen-and-inks; they were all about flowers and berries, so beautifully drawn. This image made me think of that.

Thanks, Jenn. I just liked the gnarly looking branch and berries. I know some are blurry, but the image as a whole looked kind of arty.

Thanks! They were too small for cherries, but looked very similar. It was growing in a wooded area, but for all I know, it may have been an old fruit tree that once grew on a farm. Those old trees seem to last much longer than the farmers who owned them.
