Thank you! This was quite an unusual fractal; it made me think of old chinese watercolors of clouds and trees, hence the name. I appreciate the .

Thank you so much for the compliment and the ! I do appreciate it. I rarely get cool fractals, but when I do, my faith in ChaosPro is restored. Well, it WAS restored. These days, all my fractals are stinkers...I've hit a slump!

You are most welcome.
I get nothing but stinkers from Apo.
Lately my UF stuff stinks too. I'm in a real slump myself.

Thank you very much. Going through all the formulas in ChaosPro is like panning for gold. Usually you work hard all day and get nothing. But when you do, it's a huge reward. I think this was the result of a few good nuggets!

**audible gasp** This is incredibly beautiful Jean! I especially love the pastel "rainbow" toward the center! Also Love the soft, ethereal look.....talk about an excellent job of layering....this is simply AWESOME!

desmo100 In reply to 1arcticfox [2006-10-10 21:21:10 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, Anita. Praise like that, especially coming from you, is very ego-boosting! I fiddled around with various layer combinations, but I ended up using just two images. THey were completely different from one another, and different people wrote the parameters; they're not even "cousins" . But I guess opposites attract, and this was a marriage made in heaven. It helped that I really like the two basic fractals...they both can stand on their own, so I might post them later on.

desmo100 In reply to Interference [2006-10-10 21:22:36 +0000 UTC]

Thank you so much. It definitely has an illustration look to it, or maybe a water color. I can sort of see an old Chinese watercolor of plants and trees growing on the sides of mountains, up in the clouds, and that's why I named it that.

If you go deep, very deep in the ocean, even past the total darkness, you may come across the otherworldly area known as Jellyfish Haven. Considered a myth by most scientests, the haven is assumed to be located in a bioluminescent cave beneath a dormant volcano.

desmo100 In reply to Katjakay [2006-10-10 18:41:10 +0000 UTC]

This definitely has an air of bioluminscence to it! I almost called it, "Light" but that seemed in adequate. What it does remind me of is those Chinese watercolors of trees on mountainsides, up near the cloud cover. I always thought those were so pretty!

Thanks! THere's definitely a rainbow in there. The first layer is brilliantly colored, and the second is full of puffy, white roundish shapes, kind of like clouds!
