Thank you, Edie. I always liked this one, too. I'd like it more if there was a bit of fog to filter the light and create some magic. For some reason, we rarely get fog around here, though.

Thank you, Thelma. I always love seeing the sun peek through the trees that way...it's so magical and fun!

I know what you mean by that awful glare. I had to put the tree between myself and the sun in order to avoid that...luckily, the tree was wide enough to block it!

Thanks for the wonderful compliment. If I were a lot younger, I would definitely consider going into photgraphy more seriously. Nowadays, my arthritic joints tell me my galavanting days are almost over!

I'm glad it requires sitting, too. I can still get around OK, but I tire more easily than when I was young--and could go all day long without being the least bit tired!

It's my life, too. I'm always griping about arthritis! This is the not-fun part of getting older.

thanks! Today, it's rainy and cold, not a good day to go hiking in the woods. I hope it's nicer tomorrow...I'll be going for sure!

Thanks. I took that shot several times before it looked right. That was a bit difficult.

I like this shot, it's nice and simple. Reminds me of my childhood. (I literally grew up in the forest which started right behind my parent's garden).

Thank you. Sounds like you had a very pleasant childhood. We had a woods behind our house, too. I spent hours playing in there with my chums, climbing trees, wading in the creek, catching frogs. Those were fun times!

Thank you. I love it when the rays of the sun spread out and shine through the trees like that. Even though the day was dry, there may have been some dust in the air; or perhaps my filter was a bit dusty!

Thank you so much! That was even prettier in person. I'm glad this pic came out as well as it did.

Thank you. I tried to block the sun with a tree so I wouldn't have blackened foreground details; it worked pretty well in this image.
