Yes, I know what you mean about doing the occasional manipulation.....I have this urge to do some digital painting, but don't seem to manage to find the time or right creative state...it's a sort of wonderful state of communion with one self, isn't it? Photography is quite a different experience.

Thanks, Lori. Manips are not as easy as people might think, are they?! You not only have to cut and paste, you have to get the lighting right, the proper focus of images, shadowing, and other elements that make it look more real!

Well to me the blending is the most important and lighting but I'm not real good at that. You do quite well I think if you're a photographer such as yourself, you understand the concepts of lighting better than just us manipulators Welcome!

Lighting is so hugely important in photography. You can take an otherwise ordinary picture, but in the right light, it can look downright magical!
