Now I'm thinking aloud here, these things may not even be a problem once you add more details!
I like how the right shoulder slopes down but when I imagine that hand connected to an arm, it doesn't quite line up methinks. But that could be because of the ambiguity of the painting in it's unfinished stage.
I'm assuming the right arm is holding the gun? I just worry that it looks like his arm and wrist were cut out. The large amount of black at the bottom causes me to kind of stop and get stuck when I look downwards. Pinstripes could help break up that space. Maybe even consider having the left arm holding the gun up so the arm creates a curve to lead around the composition? Long comment is looong sorry!

It's funny that you should say that, because I agree with you--there should be something the borders like an arm or something, but the peeps at tumblr thought it feel too 'boxed in' that way idk : (. Take a look at the two versions I posted there, if you can [link]

It does look kind of boxed in, because the arm goes straight across like a border. I was thinking something more like this to break up that space, but it changes your composition a lot! D:

It was a really quick edit and I enjoy your work so no probs! It's refreshing to see people who take critique so well and I need practice effectively critiquing for classes because I'm always too shy haha.

No worries! I was just trying to solve the issue using the arm.
Now that I look at it again I think maybe something more subtle such as a design/pattern or even just cropping the bottom a bit is better than BAM, ARM!

its pretty good, but it needs less watercolor, brighter colors, and a revolver instead of a Glock (thats what it looks like).

I'm still undecided on which gun to use, originally I was going to use the Ambassador, but regardless, thank you for the suggestions!
