Description

Hey! I'm a bit more confident in this fellas design though I changed his colour pallete a lot so he didn't look too much like the Folibaca Dragon. This guy was themed off of a Chameleon, as you probably guessed with his tail. He hasn't got wings unlike the other dragons, or scales for that matter. I had a lot of fun designing him to be a rainforest reptile! Bulla translate to bubble, so this guy is the Bubble Dragon! I hope you enjoy reading his biography! Read below;

Name: Bubble (Bulla) Dragon

Size (From tail tip to head): 1.5 m - 2 m

Habitat: Rainforest

Diet: Insectivores

Movement Style: Slow paced and Lazy

Gender Variation: Females are fully green, unlike males which is pictured above.

Type of young: Egg

Mating Season: March-July

The Bulla dragon is not to be mistaken for something aggressive, as this large lazy creature is relatively calm, and he doesn't hunt anything other than bugs. While he is an insectivore, these creatures do have nesting grounds, and they will become aggressive if anyone trespasses, but normally, they can be approached with relative ease. They get there name from the potruding warms lining their back. These warts collect the waters from the rainforest and allow the creature to mix the water with their own bitter toxin, then whenever a larger animal attempts to eat it, the warts burst and release an unpleasent stagnent fluid into the predators mouth, normally, causing it to drop the Bulla Dragon and flee. The spots do regenerate over time, and the moisture collected by the Bulla Dragons slimey skin helps fill the warts up in a matter of a couple days. In the time waiting for the warts to regenerate, the Bulla dragon will hide away and keep itself discrete. It does have sweet tasting flesh which makes it a target, so evolving this way as helped maintain it's species. Humans rarely hunt this creature as it's found in the deepest parts of the rainforest where dangerous predators exist. The Bulla Dragon eats bugs, from large to small, it releases a sweet scent which allures the insects, and once they're in proximity, it uses it's scoop shaped jaw to propell them off the ground and catch them with it's long tongue. It's tempting colours resemble that of forest fruits and lush leaves, which unfortunately for the insects, makes them easily caught in it's trap. The expression on it's face gives many the impression this animal is a deadly and ferocious foe, but even the warty venom it expells can hardly be fatal, and as stated earlier, it is a calm creature. It has rarely been domesticated purely because of the difficulty in getting close to it, but also because there's no real purpose for the animal. Some scientists exclaim it's unique skin matter and bodily fluids could make cures or even prevention oinments and regularily ask for a field trip to find some samples so they can prove this.
