Description
Hey, this is my Original character, Zoya. She's received a lot of changes in her time, she used to be described as a thin fashionable girl but looking into her story more I'd feel like she wears more controversial, but stylish clothing and be of a more curvy figure. I feel like she'd be the kind of girl to really enjoy eating take away and food you'd have in pubs and nightclubs, be a huge tomboy that still wears what she wants, and she's definitely most probably bisexual or bicurious. I feel like despite being an outgoing girl she'd try to be kind with others, but often come off as too wild and/or blunt. It's so fun drawing curvy people, they're really pretty. Below is a small list of some of her key features, and in future drawings more will be added to her story.
Name: Zoya Price
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bi-curious
Birthday: 10/12
Other: Naturally black hair, Freckles
Personality:
Zoya is an energetic and unpredictable young lady, she has a crazy fashion sense that tends to show off a lot of skin and flaunts her body proudly. Her favourite colours are magenta and red to reflect her fun and somehow mysterious personality. Ever since she was a child, fashion has intrigued her and she enjoys making her own statements by wearing clothes designed by unpopular but trendy designers. She travels with her friends purely to remain close to her beloved older brother, as they grew up together and are inseparable. She's flirtatious and sometimes people get irritated by her flamboyant behaviour. Zoya is very accepting of her friend Albert and is currently the only person in the group that knows he has a crush on her older brother. She regularly sneaks off with Albert to go to gay bars in hopes of helping him find a person who will acknowledge his feelings as she secretly does not want to share her brother with him. Zoya can be hard to get along with but she's overall a generally good person.
Good: Energetic, Accepting, Trendy
Bad: Ill-mannered, Jealous, Noisy, Drunkard
Backstory:
Zoya Price grew up with her older brother, Lewis Price and her friend Albert Harrison. They grew up on a quiet street in a small town located in the countryside, where they often played out together and spent time together. As children, they'd explore the forests hunting for ghosts and mythical creatures, Zoya never really believed in them, but hearing her Older brother talk about them intrigued her. Zoya and her brother were raised by their single, but loving father. Their house was small and definitely not luxurious, but their dad tried his hardest to support both kids. He worked most hours as a construction worker, leaving the kids at home to let their imaginations run wild. Zoya was the one who found Albert playing alone in the park down the street, she was also the one who introduced him to Lewis. They started a miniature club called the "Adventurers League" and in that club, they tried to prove that mythical and fantastical beings existed. Lewis was the leader and still is now.
When Zoya entered high school she became a bit distant from the group, associating herself with other girls of her age. She decided to pursue her love of fashion and arts by doing art courses and grew distant from her friends, starting to question her brother's belief in the supernatural. Zoya remained this way for a whole year before hearing from her father that her brother planned on travelling the world to pursue his passion as a supernatural investigator and biologist and that he was going to help his son fund a truck from a nearby secondhand car market. This made Zoya feel sad because she finally realised that she hadn't been paying any attention to her own family or her friend Albert and that she was selfish to pursue her own desires and ignore her friend's desires. But, contrary to how she thought they'd react, Lewis and Albert were fine with her pursuing her own desires. In the end, Zoya decided she'd rather travel with her brother and Albert while also pursuing her dreams, as opposed to pursuing her dreams and not seeing her friends often anymore.
During the travels, Zoya really learned what fashion was. A way to express yourself, not just a path to fame. She became more and more inspired by the experiences she and her two friends had, visiting haunted houses, exploring ancient forests, visiting different islands and towns. The varied cultures and experienced inspired her. When Zoya found out her brother was dabbling in magic, she grew worried about his mental state, and it's only been getting more and more clear his mind was far from easy. She's always tried her hardest to support her brother regardless. As she became more confident in her own sense of style, Zoya dyed her hair a luminous yellow-green, and she occasionally puts in coloured contacts because she personally feels that her brown eyes are unflattering and dull.
One day, Zoya was out shopping for clothes while they'd stopped off at a town by the shoreside, and Zoya found one of the most beautiful girls she had ever seen, with peachy pink hair and glowing yellow eyes, she was entranced by her. Her beautiful pastel coloured clothing and pale skin, Zoya was desperate to talk to her and ask her where she bought her clothes from. Her first thought was "I want her to be my model". Instead, she respectfully approached the younger lady and invited her for a chat in a nearby cafe. This girl turned out to be called Mimiru and would become Zoya's friend, and the fourth member of the Adventurers League. They chatted and Zoya felt sympathy for the budding artist, them both being creative types, they quickly connected and it wasn't long before Zoya begged Mimiru to join her and her friends. While Mimiru seemed sceptical, she eventually agreed. And so Zoya continued her journey with her friends and brother, meeting Shiori and Joshua only added to the fun. Having so many varied body shapes inspired Shiori deeply, and she continues to design clothes in her leather bound book, often referencing from her friend's bodies with permission. She longs to one day start her own fashion business selling clothes she has designed but struggles to leave her brothers side.
