Cool piece...but, if by "officer" she'd technically be a senior enlisted NCO(non-commissioned officer) E-9 (SGT Maj of the Army) in this piece, and not a commissioned officer or warrant officer. Junior and senior enlisted personnel render salutes to commissioned officers and warrant officers. In the Lynda Carter WW tv series, Diana was a US Naval Reserve WAVES(Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) NCO rate of YN1 (Yeoman First Class, a maritime service administration desk specialist). In the original comics, Diana started out a US Army nurse 2LT(Second Lt) and then eventually converted to US Army Intelligence and achieved the rank of MAJ. Yeah, as a former Navy enlisted guy myself and grew up in a military family, I'm one of those sticklers when it comes to accuracy of the US military as seen in military ranks in comics, tv, and films. Its about attention to detail and the respect for military service for those who earned to right to wear the rank, the uniform, awards, decorations, and specialty devices.

I would say that Diana has a rank of E-9, which means she's more of a warrant officer/Squadron Superintendent. Though the Chevron she's wearing is the U.S. Army Version. She should be wearing the U.S. Air Force version (if she's still in the Air Force like she was in previous comics).

It's taken me a while to understand what is it about your artwork that I'm digging so much: the colors? The old school designs? I know what it is now, they are smiling. Gosh you don't see any super hero or woman smiling anymore in comics today.

I don't mean to nitpick, but U.S. Air Force chevrons are inverted. The points on her sergeant insignia should be pointing downward. Other then that. This picture is DAMN good. Very nice work.

True, but if you give her an Army CSM insignia. Then the uniform color is off. The jacket would be black if it was Army Active Service Uniform (Current Uniform) or an olive green if she was wearing the classic Class- A Dress Greens. (Old Uniform)
