A full body shot of my Yui cosplay. I added wire inside my scarves, instead of letting them hang limply, to try and emulate the flowing fabrics seen in Yuu Watase's art. All that useless wire from my 3-D design class came in handy!Taken at Otakon 2010.

Thank you! Yeah, I fought with the wig quite a bit because it was originally a longer wig that I had, and because of budget reasons I opted to just cut it for this costume. Unfortunately, it ended up wanting to flip out and not lay flat. Next time, I wear Yui I might see if I can get the hair more accurate.
If not, I can always just dye it brown and flip it out more, so I can have a Yuna wig XD;

oh my gosssssh. you nailed it! the costume looks so perfect on you! and the wig doesn't even look misfit! and of course it helps that you're really pretty, too!!! i love how it came out! its like Yui in REAL LIFE! not just some cosplay! if you know what i mean.. HAHA! (altho this is really a cosplay...)

Thanks! I may re-wear Yui again next year. We shall see~ I really wanted to do a photo shoot by the waterpark (the thing behind me in my Velvet photos), but didn't get a chance D: I have some other photos,taken by friends. My expression are a little funny, so that's why I didn't upload them XD;

Another good trick to get the flowy design is to cut the scarf in a circle! Not as in one big circle of course, but as a swirl-thingy! If that makes sense!

Haha, thanks! I wasn't very fond of her hair either, so I looked at some other hair styles to model my wig after that would be more flattering. I actually looked at some of Ayumi Hamasaki's old hairstyles O_o

Adding the wires to the scarves is a really nice touch! The way it flows was one of the first things that caught my eye when I looked at the photo.
