This....................took roughly 10 hours off and on.
I'm so proud of it! I think it's my best yet! And...Miyavi is such a good subject cause he's so damn cute to look at! X3 Anywack. I gotta post this fast cause Burr and Keish are dying on life support right now >__________>Thank you for looking!

Elements is lower than just regular photoshop. It's mostly for photo editing, and not particularly used as a colouring program. What you have is probably far better than what I used to have (got 7.0 now), and it took me a while to find all of it's ins and outs.

I think I have 7.0, glad you could figure the damn thing out.... It mostly just confuses me. I can do basic photo chopping/editing , but at this point that's about it. I'm hoping one day it will magically make sense....

Yes, layers are frustrating, and with all the tutorials on this site, it's hard to just find a simple one ^_^ but if you need help, I could do a quick tutorial for you if you'd like.

Well, I just totally don't understand how the layers work, and I can figure out how to use the pen tool.... Filtering, rendering, and did I miss anything?? Oh yeah, pretty much everything else about it....

OOoO layers I can help you with immediately! I've already made a layer tutorial, and it's really simple to follow. Though I made it back when I was using Photoshop Elements, it's the same thing for the PS you have. Here's the link: [link]

Oooh thank you sooo much!! I also just found a purikura kit.. That's been fun. I've been messing with it for like an hour or two. I just can't figure out what the pen is doing. Ya know, like, I can't figure out how to actually DRAW something. It just makes straight lines with little boxes. (shiiit, I really am clueless, I'm soo sorry) ^^

Oh, it's like the japanese sticker-photo style. You know, with like all the little photobooth style stickers. There's a bunch of them on this site actually if you look them up. And I THINK I figured out the layers as well. It's mostly just pens now. So, for example, I loaded a rough sketch into PS yesterday, and I can get the pen to make lines, but I can't get the lines to curve correctly. They stay angled, or they just curve wrong...

Hmm....it sounds like a bezier curve pen but that won't let you curve o_O are there any other options on the pen tool that you can switch it to?
