Description
This was originally going to be a piece on its own entitled 'paper based' then i had a thought, which was that a paper based series of works would be pretty cool, so what you see is the first piece for it, and a 'front cover' kind of piece.I would really like some other people to contribute to it, so if you like paper and stuff, let me know! Basically its anything to do with paper and paper texture like i used here

first thing. there is NOTHING paper based about this work. at all.
it's a cool idea and nice work but for a series of work like this to be taken seriously it needs to be executed by actually being printed on different papers. thats where it really gets interesting. this digital shit is kinda lame as it is.
im really not trying to dis you or the work (btw, I really do like the work here, colors composition. really nice stuff! Not a big fan of the type all the way to the edge tho.) it's just that most of the artists here on da don't even think about or even consider the different aspects of print design. Everything is so damn digital now. And to see a digital work playing with paper, digitally, its kinda funny. This would look like shit if it was printed. dont take these words in offense tho, im not trying to. just trying to give a helpful and meaningful critique.

Well, lets see, seeing as the image uses paper as its texture and the main element in the composition, i think i can safely say it has alot to do about being paper based!
And its not meant for print either, the works will be showcased online, and saying it would look 'shit' is abit of a harsh word.

yeah... didn't mean to sound harsh. my apologies. but doing something like this for print would be interesting. maybe a thought for the future? it will def be alot more challenging and the result im sure would be a lot more outstanding. anyways nice work again, keep it up!

the only thing i dont like too much is the cut out edges by the guy on the left.. it seems like those guys would be put ontop so why would there be white showing through?
