finally got around to doing some new digital stuffits gonn look a lot different considering i got 1. a new tablet and 2. a different drawing program which is like drastically different from what ive been using rip forever

Krita is pretty good but it’s a lot slower than firealpaca (for my computer at least) and some of the shortcuts are very different, and also it doesn’t have clipping masks so you gotta change how you do your layers probs
I like it??? It’s not awful and it’s free so, I’d try it out and see if you like it more

it's not necessarily hard to use? it's just I am coming from firealpaca which is like drastically different in relation to keyboard shortcuts and layer stuff compared to krita (krita doesn't offer a clipping mask so I have to find a way to ... replicate that)
what I do like is the texture of brushes and patterns and stuff, and there's a Lot just handed to you right off the bat so that's p cool
what I don't like is how slow it is compared to firealpaca, like its hard to use a brush size bigger than 200 px (which may just be my computer idk) there's a bit of lag that I'm not.. used to receiving lmao
other than that, if it's like your first drawing program, or if it's similar to say photoshop maybe?? then you'd probs like it. that's just me tho I'm real big time bias lmao it is a nice program at face value, I just don't like... the littler things

Oh I switched because when I got this new tablet there was this weird thing with the pen pressure whenever I used firealpaca that made all my brush strokes look. Janky
It was weird and I couldn’t fix it so I switched to Krita

It’s coolio, I’m sure it was more than just the tablet bc my whole entire computer was goofed up but alas
